The LSVT BIG Program was developed and scientifically researched for effective treatment of Parkinson’s disease. Patients notice faster walking with bigger steps, improved balance and increased trunk rotation.
The LSVT LOUD Program focuses on improving the quality and quantity volume the voice produces. Patients notice improved confidence when communicating to family members and in public settings
LSVT BIG and LOUD treatment consists of 16 sessions each (16 BIG, 16 Loud): 4 consecutive days per week for 4 weeks. The sessions are 1 hour in duration. Daily homework practice and carryover exercises are emphasized.
