Center for Integrative Medicine

Healing comes about when there is a positive collaborative environment, and a trusting relationship between you and your health practitioner. We are dedicated to partnering with your traditional medical practitioner to provide you with the care you require. Our therapists are experienced professionals who have extensive training in various massage techniques and bodywork therapies. We blend various therapeutic methods to help people with issues such as muscle and nerve pain, postural distortion, repetitive use injury, prolonged stress, injury or illness.

Hot Stone
A soothing massage therapy utilizing waterheated basalt stones placed at specific points on the body to promote relaxation. Muscles are pretreated with the heated stones, allowing the therapist to more easily perform deep tissue manipulations.

CranioSacral Therapy
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, handson approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve wholebody health and performance. Using a soft touch which is generally no greater than 5 grams – about the weight of a nickel – practitioners release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.

Seated Massage
A quick and relaxing way to experience a professional massage, more often, to combat the rigors of daily stress. A seated massage is designed specifically to relax the muscles and improve circulation and movement within the body.

Swedish Massage
Basic whole body massage for general relaxation and stress release.

Myofascial Therapy (MYO)
Uses very mild pressure and gentle forms of stretching and traction to help release tension and relieve pain.

Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT)
Utilizes special massage techniques, functional assessment and stretching to treat various chronic and acute pain conditions.

Prenatal
Tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies, this therapeutic massage relaxes tense muscles, eases sore spots, improves circulation and mobility, and just makes our mommy to-be feel good!

Reflexology
This holistic approach utilizes firm pressure on precise points of the foot (or hand), which stimulate various organs and body parts. This technique is not to be confused with basic foot or body massage. Reflexology can treat and prevent a wide variety of ailments affecting the central nervous system, the respiratory, skeletal, digestive and all other major body systems.
