MERCY REGIONAL CANCER CENTER HOSTS 22ND ANNUAL CANCER CARE SYMPOSIUM WITH A FOCUS ON HEAD AND NECK CANCER.
Port Huron, MI…St. Joseph Mercy Port Huron and the Mercy Regional Cancer Center are pleased to announce the 22nd Annual Cancer Care Symposium, with an Update on Current Developments in Head and Neck Cancer; screening, diagnosis, management and support. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital’s Baggot Street Café, located at 2601 Electric Avenue, Port Huron. The symposium begins with registration at 8 a.m. and will conclude at 2:30 p.m. The event is free to St. Clair County Continuing Medical Education (CME) Consortium members through the St. Clair County Medical Society.
The symposium is designed for primary care physicians, radiation oncologists, pathologists, hematologists/medical oncologists, dermatologists, surgeons, nurses and allied health professionals interested in the management of head and neck cancer and the screening, diagnosis, management and support. Five and a half (5.5) AMA PRA Category 1 Credits will be offered.
St. Joseph Mercy Port Huron is the only oncology program in the county to host an annual cancer care symposium providing continuing cancer education for physicians and clinicians.
