21st Annual Cancer Care Symposium Planned 10/11/2012
MERCY REGIONAL CANCER CENTER HOSTS 21st ANNUAL CANCER CARE SYMPOSIUM WITH A FOCUS ON: BREAST CANCER, MELANOMA AND ANAL CANAL CANCER MANAGEMENT
Port Huron, MI... St. Joseph Mercy Port Huron and the Mercy Regional Cancer Center are pleased to announce the 21st Annual Cancer Care Symposium, with an update on Breast Cancer, Melanoma and Anal Canal Cancer Management. This year's event will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital's Baggot Street Café, located at 2601 Electric Avenue, Port Huron. The event registration begins at 8 a.m. and will conclude at 2 p.m. The event is free to St. Clair County Continuing Medical Education (CME) Consortium members through the St. Clair County Medical Society.
The symposium is designed for primary care physicians, radiation oncologists, pathologists, hematologists/medical oncologists, dermatologists, surgeons, nurses and allied health professionals interested in the management of melanoma, anal canal cancer, stage 4 oncology patients and updates on breast cancer. Five AMA PRA Category 1 Credits will be offered.
St. Joseph Mercy Port Huron is the only oncology program in the county to host an annual cancer care symposium providing continuing cancer education for physicians and clinicians.
