St. Mary Mercy Hospital is offering a parenting class called “Parenting with Love and Logic” for parents and grandparents who care for elementary age and pre-teen and teenagers. Classes and topics are held on the following dates from 7 to 9:30 p.m. in classrooms 1 and 2:
· Wednesday, October 13: Elementary Age
· Wednesday, November 3: Pre-Teens and Teenagers
“Parenting with Love and Logic” is a common sense approach, teaching parents skills that cultivate confidence and good decision-making in children by offering them choices, empathy, and respect while adults avoid anger, threats, warnings, or lectures. Love and Logic is easy to learn and can be put to use right away; it changes lives, and raises responsible children.
The fee is $10 a person and registration is required. Please call 734.655-1162. Or register online at stmarymercy.org and click on “classes and events”.
