If you or someone in your home needs to cut back on salt, but doesn't want to sacrifice the flavor of favorite condiments, try making your own! Try this low sodium ketchup recipe!

Ingredients

    • 1 cup no-salt added tomato pureé
    • 1 tbsp lemon juice or vinegar
    • 1/4 tsp dry mustard
    • 1/8 tsp allspice
    • 1 tbsp sugar

Preparation

    • Combine all ingredients and cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Store in tightly covered jar in refrigerator.
