Surgery is provided on an inpatient or outpatient basis depending on the type
of procedure. Many operations can be performed with minimally invasive techniques
that allow for fewer, smaller incisions and quicker, less painful recovery.
Our residency program in General Surgery trains the surgeons of our future and
allows us to stay at the forefront of new technologies and procedures.
SJMHS surgeons are board certified in their specialty, and evaluate patients
in office settings throughout Washtenaw and Livingston counties.
