March Program: Protect Yourself: telephone and mail scam awareness.

Join the Michigan Attorney General's Office Senior Brigade as they provide safety information and useful tools to protect you from telephone and mail scams. The Senior Brigade provides seniors, 55 years of age and older, with useful information designed to reduce the chance of being taken advantage of while helping seniors to live life to the fullest. Common scams initiated over the phone or through mail and e-mail will be discussed, including helpful tips to reduce incoming phone calls and junk mail. Seniors will also learn how to report problems or scams to help prevent others from falling victim.

This event is the third session in a six month series held the third Wednesday of each month. Located in the Baggot Street Cafe (cafeteria) at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital this free program includes refreshments and an opportunity to share social time.
