Chelsea Community Hospital Children's Center - Toddler Program
Our Toddler Program is designed for children from approximately 20 months old until 3 years and potty-trained. Our program is based on the philosophy that children grow and develop to their fullest potential if given the opportunity to explore, create and problem solve with materials appropriate to their developmental age. We provide developmentally appropriate learning activities and materials that encourage children to achieve their developmental milestones in large and small motor skills, language development, cognitive skills, social, and emotional development. Our goal is to provide a safe, secure, healthy, consistent, creative, challenging, and loving environment for each child.
The curriculum includes color and theme units each month. Concepts, vocabulary, large and small group activities and art projects are planned around the color and theme. We also encourage development of good manner, self-help skills, and the ability to take turns and share, and positive self-image.
